ECU Arbiters’ Council during the European Team Championship 2017 in Crete/Greece is planning to hold ECU Arbiters’ Refreshing Course (in English and Russian language), from 31 October to 2 November, at 10:00-13:00.

The agenda of the Refreshment Course is as follows:

  1. FIDE Laws of Chess 2017
  2. Anti-cheating Guidelines
  3. Case studies from chess tournaments

Lecturer of the course will be IA Ashot Vardapetyan (Armenia), Chairman of ECU Arbiters’ Council and Chairman of FIDE Rules Commission.

The ECU Refreshing Courses is an advance course, for titled arbiters. Participation is free of charge. For visa and accommodation purposes the visiting arbiters must contact ECU General Secretary and/or European Team Championship 2017 organizers.
